Hosting a Course
Hosting your own Kinesio® Taping course can be a great way to save time, money or both.
Hosted courses are great for
Sporting teams (eg Newcastle Knights)
Multi-clinic organisations (eg Core Physiotherapy and Pilates)
Special discipline organisations (eg MoveAbout Therapies)
Educational Institutions (eg Canberra Institute of Technology)
Hospitals (eg St John of God Hospital, Warrnambool)
Of course, you don’t have to be an “organisation” to host your own course. If you have a group of friends and/or colleagues, just combine forces and get in touch with us.
Is a Hosted Course still Accredited?
Yes. All of our courses – whether they be organised by Kinesio Australia or hosted by another organisation:
– Are accredited through the Kinesio® Taping Association International (KTAI)
– Are taught by a Certified Kinesio® Taping Instructor
– Use authentic Kinesio® Tape
– Use the approved course materials from the KTAI
You will receive the same internationally recognised Kinesio Taping course and official certificate – the only difference is the way it is organised.
Benefits of hosting a course
We come to you
No need to spend money on travel and accommodation or the time off work you might need to travel to a course that is out of town.
Days that suit you
You get to choose exactly when you want the course to be held. And it doesn’t have to be a weekend or even two full days. For example, one group requested a Friday afternoon, Saturday afternoon and all day Sunday so that their therapists could work in the clinic on Saturday morning.
Spread the fixed hosting costs amongst a group of people and pay less than attending a course individually.
Get your team on board
Having all of your team/staff trained together not only helps with team bonding but enables the learning experience to be carried over into the clinical setting.
Whether you are single or a multi-disciplinary team/clinic/hospital this is a great way to ensure everyone is on the same page at the same time.
Tailored clinical examples
If your group has a special focus (eg, Paediatrics, Sports, Hand Therapy etc etc) then we can provide extra clinical examples throughout the course to suit.
How do I get started with a hosted course?
Contact Clint Bridges, our Education Director, and he can talk you through various options that would suit you and your team.
Once he has an idea of what you need, he will then send you a cost proposal for you to take back to your team.
There is no obligation and deposits are only required once you have got everything sorted out at your end and you have decided to proceed.
